Scotland flying stuff ..

What's this page about? When I started flying in Scotland I found it hard to get the information I wanted to have in a single place. Don't get me wrong almost any piece of information was available but they were spread over dozens of sites across the web. I also noted a tendency, that even though as pilots we all share the same airspace, many pieces were only available for some kind of flying. I'm equally interested in airplane, seaplane, glider and microlight flying as well as gyrocopters, helicopters, balloons, airships, paragliders and hanggliders.

Therefore I'm trying to condense as much useful information as possible here to find flight schools, an instructor, club or airstrip as well as flight related information for weather, air law, medical, licences, flight operation and preparation. There's no doubt that such a task will hardly be accomplished on a single site to the extend and quality I'm bound to. But why not give it a try? Maybe you'll find something useful.
